Speculation has been rife about the nature of the odd protrusion, with recent gossip suggesting it might be a catheter. The images reveal an unusual, serpentine lump just below his left knee.

"Appears Trump is wearing a catheter," one Twitter user commented, quote retweeting a post that featured the photos of Trump's leg that went viral late Monday night. It seems the photos were snapped sometime on Monday.

"What's going on here?" the original tweet questioned, displaying four snaps of Trump's rear view, each zooming in progressively closer to the curious bulge. The tweet attracted over 17,000 likes and comes hot on the heels of another incident where a strange shape was seen on his leg at a UFC event.

"Foley catheter. Urinary incontinence is a symptom of late stage Prefrontal Temporal Dementia," another Twitter user speculated beneath the images, reports the Irish Star.

A number of other users posted images of a Foley catheter, echoing the sentiment. Some included diagrams showing how the catheter would be secured to the leg.

Others theorised that he might actually be using a brace, but conceded that the shared images seemed to distinctly depict a catheter instead.

Speculation surrounding the President's health has been rife, with one individual suggesting: "It's long been suspected he's had one or more brain events-if that's the case, the brace is likely for drop foot," adding: "He's clearly wearing a catheter in the photo below, which also tracks, since bladder control often becomes unpredictable after neurological damage. Which would explain the fascination with Hannibal Lecter, the asylum rhetoric, and a slew of other bizarre behavior."

Some eagle-eyed observers claimed the President appeared to be wearing a catheter while attending the UFC championship fight in New Jersey over the weekend.

One user posted: "Trump is absolutely wearing a Foley catheter. It's a tube inserted into the bladder to drain urine into a bag strapped to the leg. That line down his pants? Not a crease. It's tubing. Every step he takes sounds like the sloshing of a warm Capri Sun," alongside a photo.

Another wrote: "Leg braces. And it appeared as though he had a catheter in as well," However, the exact nature of the President's leg attire remains a mystery, with some attributing it to a simple wrinkle in his pants. "Wrinkles in his pants? Drrrr," one commenter said, while another agreed, writing: "Wrinkles in the suite? Who tf cares?".

It's worth noting that Trump's physician, Captain Sean Barbabella, gave him a clean bill of health during his first annual physical, with no mention of a catheter or any other medical device, including leg braces.
